 PRIVACY & SECURITY

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 2026. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how StaffUpp collects, uses, and protects your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the information you provide when you create an account, build your profile, post or apply for jobs, and communicate through the platform. This includes:

  • Contact details (name, email, phone number)
  • Profile information (photo, skills, languages, experience, preferred work areas, documents you choose to upload)
  • Job and booking details and messages exchanged on the platform
  • Payment information, where payments are processed through the platform (handled securely by third-party providers)
  • Usage data such as device information and how you interact with the platform

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate and improve StaffUpp, including to:

  • Create and manage your account and profile
  • Match Companies with suitable Staff and enable bookings
  • Facilitate communication and, where applicable, payments
  • Provide support, security, and prevent fraud or misuse
  • Send service-related notifications and, with your consent, updates

3. Information Shared Between Companies and Staff

StaffUpp is a marketplace, so certain profile information is shown to other users to make connections possible. For example, a Company can view relevant Staff profiles, and Staff can see the details of a job. Only share information you are comfortable making visible for this purpose.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the platform — for example with payment processors, hosting and communication providers acting on our behalf, or where required by law.

5. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account at any time.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Third-Party Services

The platform may rely on trusted third-party services (such as payment and communication providers). Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last Updated” date above.
