1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StaffUpp, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users, including companies posting event staffing jobs (“Companies”) and freelance event staff (“Staff”).

2. About StaffUpp

StaffUpp is a UAE-based online marketplace that connects Companies with freelance Staff for events, exhibitions and activations. We provide the technology that helps Companies and Staff find and connect with each other. We are not a staffing agency, an employer, or a party to any agreement made between a Company and a member of Staff.

3. Accounts & Eligibility

To use StaffUpp you must create an account and be at least 18 years old and legally able to work in the United Arab Emirates where required. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that takes place under your account
• Providing accurate, current and complete information on your profile

4. Staff Responsibilities

Staff members agree to:

• Provide truthful information about their skills, experience, languages and availability
• Hold any permits, visas or work authorisations required to work in the UAE
• Attend confirmed jobs on time, appropriately presented, and perform the agreed role professionally
• Communicate promptly and notify the Company as early as possible if they cannot attend

5. Company Responsibilities

Companies agree to:

• Describe each job accurately, including dates, location, hours, dress code and duties
• Comply with all applicable UAE labour, health and safety requirements at the event
• Treat Staff respectfully and provide a safe working environment
• Pay Staff the agreed amount for confirmed and completed work

6. Bookings, Quotes & Payments

Companies can request quotes from and book Staff through the platform. Where payments or platform fees are processed through StaffUpp, they are handled by secure third-party payment providers and any fees are disclosed before you confirm. Unless stated otherwise, the commercial agreement (rate, scope and payment) is directly between the Company and the Staff member.

7. Cancellations & No-Shows

Bookings should only be cancelled where genuinely necessary and with as much notice as possible. Repeated late cancellations or failing to attend confirmed work (a “no-show”) may result in reduced visibility, suspension, or removal from the platform.

8. Our Role

StaffUpp facilitates connections only. We do not employ Staff, supervise work, guarantee bookings or income, or guarantee the conduct, quality or outcome of any job. Any contract for work is formed directly between the Company and the Staff member.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You must not use StaffUpp to:

• Post false, misleading or unlawful information
• Harass, discriminate against, or abuse other users
• Circumvent the platform to avoid fees where fees apply, or solicit users for unrelated services
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the platform

10. Intellectual Property

The StaffUpp name, platform, and content are owned by StaffUpp or its licensors. Content you upload (such as your profile, photos and portfolio) remains yours, but you grant StaffUpp a licence to display it on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StaffUpp is not liable for the acts or omissions of Companies or Staff, for the quality or outcome of any job, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform. The platform is provided on an “as is” basis.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent UAE courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last Updated” date above, and continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
